The lifeline of every organization to a great extent is membership and this most certainly applies to Temple Ner Maarav.  We've always been know as a warm "haimesh" congregation with many interpersonal relationships.  This quality has enabled the Synagogue to weather many storms and to continue as an active House of Worship.  However, the need to attract new families, especially younger members, is critical.  The Temple offers complete educational services for children, including an active preschool and Hebrew School.  Activites offering subjects of many interests are available for our adult members.  To that end, we welcome referrals and would love to have those looking to be affiliated to attend a Shabbat Service. 

Our dues structure is very reasonable and takes into account both seniors and young families just starting out in the Jewish community.  Special allowances are available for young families who are also enrolling children in our schools.  The exact figures are available at the time applications are submitted and upon review by the financial committee. Temple Ner Maarav above all. is not a huge religious factory.  Our goal is not to have the largest membership in Los Angeles but to continue to provide all the necessary services of a synagogue on a "Cheers" basis (Where eveybody knows your name) and not a take a number relationship.
